Heat Treatment
We have the facility for solution treating and age hardening of exotic materials and the hardening and tempering of alloys steels.
Heat treatment operations are carried out in an electrically operated and calibrated furnace to documented, approved and controlled procedures, supported by validated control plans as proof of completion. Read more about our Testing & Certification.
If required, local UKAS approved laboratories are used to verify material condition after the completion of heat treatment operations.
Larger components or material billets can be sub-contracted to specialised companies who offer the full range of complex or multi-stage heat treatment, backed up by full testing/certification facilities.
